Robin Chesnut-Tangerman

Robin joined the sales team in July of 2020 and quickly became a valued member. Robin and his wife Melissa have lived in Middletown Springs since 1991, where they raised their two daughters and built an energy-efficient home and homestead.

Robin joined the sales team in July of 2020 and quickly became a valued member. Robin and his wife Melissa have lived in Middletown Springs since 1991, where they raised their two daughters and built an energy-efficient home and homestead.

Robin holds a BA from Hamilton College and offers a great depth of building knowledge with decades of experience in the carpentry business, and as a licensed building inspector. In his community of Middletown Springs he has served on the Select Board (13 years), the volunteer fire department, the library board, the town newsletter, the energy committee, and numerous other activities. He has also worked widely as an educator, primarily with homeschoolers, at-risk teens, and at Green Mountain College.

Robin's local knowledge and connections are extensive as reflected in his fourth term as Representative in the Vermont Legislature for the towns of Middletown Springs, Pawlet, Rupert, Tinmouth, and Wells. He is currently vice-chair of the General and Housing Committee.
